What We Do
Our Warrior Wagons come filled with useful and practical items such as full-sized towels; high quality facial tissues and baby wipes; real silverware, plates, bowls, and cups; gift cards for gas and restaurants; along with fun things for the child like books, movies and toys.
We serve children through our partnered hospitals who are seven years and younger, and who were diagnosed with some form of pediatric cancer in the last 60 days. Warriors must be receiving their primary care at one of our partnered hospitals.
With these original intentions in mind, we’ve outline a few of the criteria Warrior Wagons, Inc. will use in determining who becomes one of our Warriors. Preference will be giving to children and families that meet the following:
- Primary Care facility is at an approved hospital
- Newly Diagnosed (within 60 days)
- Age 7 or below
In April 2017, Rochester, Minnesota’s Mayo Clinic joined as our first partner. Warrior Wagons teamed up with the Children’s Hospital of Minnesota later in January 2019. Soon after, in June 2019, the Ann and Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago was included. In December 2022, we welcomed Minnesota Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a new partner. Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee became our fifth partnered hospital in September of 2023. In July of 2024, Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, joined our Warrior Wagons network. And St Louis Children’s Hospital in St Louis, Missouri, became our newest branch of Warrior Wagons, added in November of 2024.
